This time I began a little late
because I had some traffic problems on the road; so, I had to take some of my
tutor teacher’s time. When I initiated
my class, the students looked more willing to learn and cooperative with the
class development; that fact helped me to be more self-confident when carrying
out my teaching. Later, at the time I was developing the warm up activity,
another teacher came in and disturbed my teaching, provoking that the students
got unfocused for a while; fortunately, she went out quickly.
I have to express I’m glad since I’m
making better my performance even though my tutor teacher doesn’t grade my
performance as I would like to. Maybe I didn’t do it perfectly but I perceived
that this time was a little different. Students worked together, my tutor
teacher emphasized some things I did better and I felt more self assured;
nevertheless, I know there’s a long way to go in my growth as a teacher.
-Well, I would say that it is irritating when someone enters to you classroom and dictracts your students, but it happens and we have to learn how to deal with those situations.
ReplyDelete-Also, I can tell you that maybe your grades are not the ones you want, but I have learnt that self-satisfaction is even more valuable, and I can see that you feel comfortable with your job.
