Second Teaching. (Intermediate II)

Friday, May 18th, 2012
This time I began a little late because I had some traffic problems on the road; so, I had to take some of my tutor teacher’s time.  When I initiated my class, the students looked more willing to learn and cooperative with the class development; that fact helped me to be more self-confident when carrying out my teaching. Later, at the time I was developing the warm up activity, another teacher came in and disturbed my teaching, provoking that the students got unfocused for a while; fortunately, she went out quickly.

I have to express I’m glad since I’m making better my performance even though my tutor teacher doesn’t grade my performance as I would like to. Maybe I didn’t do it perfectly but I perceived that this time was a little different. Students worked together, my tutor teacher emphasized some things I did better and I felt more self assured; nevertheless, I know there’s a long way to go in my growth as a teacher.

  1. -Well, I would say that it is irritating when someone enters to you classroom and dictracts your students, but it happens and we have to learn how to deal with those situations.
-Also, I can tell you that maybe your grades are not the ones you want, but I have learnt that self-satisfaction is even more valuable, and I can see that you feel comfortable with your job.
