My last teaching practice! (Intermediate II)

Tuesday, May 29, 2012
Today’s class I handled a situation that I had never experienced before. I started the class without the presence of my tutor teacher. At the beginning, I thought it would be difficult to manage the class without his company, but then, I realized it was not a big deal running with class without the instructor. The students follow my directions and cooperated with me in an acceptable way.

Some minutes later, my tutor teacher arrived at the moment we were developing the warm up activity, and the students got surprised to see him arriving late, but my class had to continue and I followed up with the next activities. At the end, everything was carried out as I had planned it, and in this way, I finished my last teaching practice of this term!!!

  1. As teachers, we never stop getting surprised. There will be a new experience everyday, and we have to learn to deal with it. It's good to know that you has the courage to start your class without the teacher. I admire that.

But you should have shared with us the way you felt in this class, the activities you developed, etc. in this entry. I would have loved to read that.
