3rd Entry (Intemediate I level)

In this class I started with by asking the students to perform the role plays I had assigned them in the previous class. All of them were very creative when performing their role plays; then, I continued by correcting the oral mistakes they  commited  when carrying out their performances.

Later on, I followed my teaching with a short dictation practice related to the use of gerunds and infinitives; after that, I explained the use and meaning of some expressions like “can’t help”, “can’t afford”, “can’t stand”, among others. 

Afterward, I gave the students some sentence strips cut in 3 parts (subject-verb-object) so that they could identify each of the parts and find all the direct objects and indirect objects in the sentences. Then, I asked some learners to write on the board some of the sentences to explain the grammar part about direct and indirect objects.
